Introductions

Sinai Ministries Headquarters is situated in Mamallapuram, Tamil Nadu in South India. It is 45 minutes travel by car from Chennai (Madras). Our organization is a Christian organization and our main aim is to expand God’s kingdom all over the world. Sinai Ministries is not funded by the government or any other organization and so we rely solely on good-will offerings from friends around the world. Part of our ministry consists of an orphanage home which houses 62 children and 7 staff members.

Our Ministries
The children who live with us in the orphanage are mainly from very poor backgrounds with, either no parents, or parents who are so poor they are unable to care for the children without our help. We also run a tailoring School for widows, which gives them the opportunity to complete a course in tailoring and get a job. The main part of our work, however, is encouraging and building churches. We currently have three independent churches situated in and around Mamallapuram and a fourth being built. All of our churches are in poor and rural areas of Tamil Nadu and primarily in un-churched villages.

Our Vision

As a group of Christians we believe that God has not called us to stand still but to be forever active for Him. We, therefore, have put together a ‘vision’ for our organization that we should forever strive to achieve these things for the Lord. They are as follows:

* By God’s grace we seek to plant churches especially in very poor, rural and un-churched areas along with social works and, in doing so, expand God's kingdom as far as possible.

* By God’s grace we desire to teach and support the children placed in our care by introducing them to Jesus and encouraging them in regular prayer and study.

* By God’s grace we hope to grow a good relationship between the Churches in Europe and Sinai Ministries and to strengthen each other by all means.

* ABOVE ALL we at Sinai Ministries seek to give God the glory for all things.
