Sinai ministry is a Christian registered charity in India (Indian Regd Charity Number: 96/1991-93) that is governed by board of trustees. We raise funds for our social work through individuals and organisations; we receive no support from the Indian government. Sinai Ministries employs over 30 members of staff throughout our range of ministries which includes an Orphanage Home, Primary School, and 3 Churches.
Our Vision is to work with poor and excluded people within our community and, by God's grace, give them opportunities to gain a steady future and an equal standing in society.
Our Goal is to give every child in our care the best possible life within the wider community and break the cycle of poverty.
Our Strategy involves making sure they go to school and become well educated regardless of their cast (the cast system is still often prevalent in every day Indian society). It also involves teaching them about other major issues such as faith, gender equality, being a contributing member of society, work/job experience, family and marriage etc.
With your support we can continue to be there for the orphan children in our care and become the ladder which they can climb to break the cycle of poverty, cast and lack of education.
